Who We Are
Founded in 1965 by Ernest Plaister, Plaister Properties was originally called Weston Garden Produce. Many residents of the town will fondly remember the shops in Worle and Weston High Streets, and also in West St in town.
Ernest was assisted in running the business by his two sons - Colin and Robert Plaister
During the 1980s supermarkets began to encroach upon the small town and village high streets, and saw the demise of the local grocer, butcher, baker. Colin and Robert decided to renovate Weston town centre properties and turn them into homes for tenants to whom they rented directly.
The business is now owned by Robert's widow, Christine - who upholds all of the values that were important to the brothers for so many years.
